Like before, the Judge turned and 'looked' at Marco.
I do not know. Nor do my superiors. We are the perfect Judges, as we hold no biases like the humans on your planet. Therefore, we assign tests which require only a type of kinship among the group. This thrid party is an anomily. However, we cannot help you deal with this problem. We may not become involved in anyway in your task. For all purposes, you are alone, only this third party challenges you even more.
The Judge Turns around, slowly becoming a blob of light again.
The question has been answered. The time for your second quest has begone!
With that, the blackness shatters, and falls to pieces. When the light fades, you are again in another place, this time in what seems to be the later afternoon. You are standing on of grassy hill, over looking a lake in this region. Thick, dark clouds blanket the sun, the harsh light being blocked out, so a very light glow is in the air. Behind the group, about a 1/4 of a mile away, is a small town with buildings made of wood and thatch. Even from your distance, you can tell something is going on at the town.

OOC - In my mind it's a LOT longer....but being in a car for 5+ hours puts a hamper on your writing skills. Anyway, small town, busy, get going. PT

"..." Zamiel looked around. "Have I ever mentioned that I really really hate this whole situation?" He sighed. "Oh well. At least it's cloudy."

Marco pats Zamiel on the shoulder. "Don't worry little one, you have a purpose regardless if you believe so or not." He turned to the group. "What say you, men? Shall we start walking?"

(OOC: Do we still have our weapons that we acquired in the last place?)

OOC Are we still in ancient egypt, or do I look totally stupid wearing silken desert wear and an ornamental sword, carrying around a pouch of gold?
IC
Saur looks with his awesome vision towards the town to see if he can notice anything, and also listens carefully, smelling for smoke.
"I guess we better go to the town then. It seems what they want us to do. Oh, and next time discuss the question, that was good, but of no use to us. It would have been a better use to ask how to contact a god or some such thing."

"I'll remember that, although we do not have to speak to anymore gods, if I remember correctly. I think we have to protect these people from something, then attend a ceremony of theirs..."

Kian nods.

"Something about Druids, I believe... Anyway, unless my eyes deceive me, there's something happening over there, and I don't want to miss the party."

Kian pauses for a moment.

"I think the question was a good one though. It was the answer that was near-useless. No matter. At least we know of them."

OOC - Saur, the english will just ADORE your get up...

IC -

Saur, with his senses, smells many fires, but localized and controled. He can see a mass of people in the town square, as well. You can also hear some "talking" between the group, about "The Heretics and bastard ways."

Faint, unintelligable yelling can be heard by the others.

OOC: That reminds me. I need to start noticing Saur's other abilities during the times Kian's using them. I keep forgetting that he has heightened senses too.

IC:

"We should be careful. We were lucky in Egypt, but we might not be so lucky here. All our clothes tend to stand out just a little. Does anybody still have the gold we were given?"

Ender shook his head. "I left all mine back in Egypt in exchange for these weapons. I have about 6 throwing knives, 2 shields, and a couple swords. Anyone that needs an extra weapon, speak now."

Tl takes a minute to right his bearings and figure out where he is. Druids? Thatch houses? Medieval times maybe? If that were so theyd still have no firearms, but crossbows and bows a plenty, making this place a more dangerous situation. He had his two weapons still, which was all he felt hed ever need, but dressed in his current clothes he imagines he'll feel a bit out of place.

"Whatever is happening, is happeneing fast. I suggest like everyone else we get down there and not miss our opporatunity. And marco, along with everyone else, myself included, Zamiel is part of our group, and he is no child, we will need to call him by his name, right now he may be dependant on us, but Im sure there will be a time when we will be dependant on him."

Kian turned again.

"TL is correct. We were all chosen for a reason. Just because Zamiel has yet to play a major part doesn't mean that all our fate will not rest on his shoulders at some point."

That said, he turns to the town, and starts jogging toward it.

OOC: My last post was ALL out of character :P Sorry for not making it clear, I think I'll edit it so Kian will have said something.

(ooc: OK, all of you calling Zamiel "little one" and suchlike is tharting to get on my nerves. He eighteen years old and five feet ten inches tall! GAH! Just because he hasn't really come in useful YET doesn't mean he's a defenseless child. He's good with *unarmed* combat. And I doubt that it would have been a good idea to try to punch that shadow thing.))

OOC: Agreed. Zamiel's attitude makes him appear smaller, but I think it was Wrail (not counting Ferra) who was the smallest... I think, though, that he needs to start stepping up for himself. Kian's beginning to get irritated with it too, but he's not going to do much about it.

(ooc: And he can continue being annoyed. Until someone manages to get Zamiel angry or scared enough to attack...)
