Legos are the best toys ever made.

Then come videogames. :)

My sig would have contained the secret of life, but I'd already clicked submit.

I actually saw about five or six XBOX consoles in the pictures.. they were all stacked up in the picture about all the Gameboys. This is a really neat idea that PA had; I hope that the gaming community can keep showing its generosity. I would suggest our group do something like this, but I know many of the people on the forums are fairly poor as it is already.

Thank you, Chrono. I did not realize there was a thread already like this. I merged the two together..

But playmobil is better than nothing. That just means that playmobil is better than Lego! :D

I'll try and see what I can do.

If you people honstly believe anything is better than lego, I'll whip out my old Technics and reconstruct my 2 foot tall Timberwolf Battlemech, which is motorized and with fiberoptics for weapons. It will clomp its way to your house and destory you and your playmobil loving family.

Look! I bought one of the red ones! :D

http://www.penny-arcade.com/childsplay/4.htm

Edit: They estimate people have donated $30,000 worth so far, from all over the world. I wonder how many Aussies have chipped in? I must have stumbled upon it as soon as they put it up, because I donated a couple of days ago, and they say that they're only a few days into the drive as it is.

Wouldn't it be great to have so many visitors, and be able to do something like that.

Someone send me some Lego.

That is so amazing that they've gotten all those donations... this can show that gamers are NOT cold-blooded mindless ready-to-go-out-and-kill-something zombies.
