games and helping the kids
Though Grav hasn't donated any money or toys recently (feeding herself and attending college have put a lot of yuck into these plans
; ), she has donated books. LOTS of books.
Because as fun as all this stuff is, she remembers there being quite a few book worms at the Children's Hospital, so Grav is giving them a lot of her old ones.
In cluding a few Megatokyo Vol 1's that she got used.

Yeah, Grav's little brother was in the Children's Hospital when he was little, though Ggrav doesn't remember it very well, she remembers playing with some of the sick children there. We all had fun with these cool micromachine cars, and then they had to go back to their rooms for meds. Grav hopes they're all right, she never saw them after that, but then again, she never went back to visit her brother, he was released two days later, thankfully.

Ok, is that nothing is greater than lego in the sense that nothing is harder than diamond, or getting nothing is better than getting a swift kick in the head?
I like Gravs idea. I'm strapped for cash, but I think I can aford a few books. Hmm... headphones. No one has donated headphones yet. Maybe I can get the office in on this.

On the other side of the screen, it all looks so easy.

Hell even if you can't donate, (like me, broke as all hell)just do what I did. Spead the word. At least you are ding something.
MMM... Gravy
Yeah, the word spead pretty fast around here, though food banks are also strapped.
If you can't afford to get toys or head phones, please at least donate a few cans of food to your local food bank, or drop a few pennies into santa's pot. Everyone needs a little help this year.
And Hyde, you sig is officially declared creepy. Grav misread it, and thought it said MMM... Gravity.

Thank you guys. Thank you all so much. The woman I hope to marry was recently taken ill with a mystery virus. She was taken to a children's hospital just like the one penny-arcade is helping out. It just... it makes me cry.
At any rate, they don't give the toys TO the kids.. For instance, the n64 that was nearby on our floor was on a big stand and could be wheeled into the rooms to play on. Some games bolted down and whatnot. Its a fun diversion.
I think, instead of getting something myself, I'm going to have my parents just.. donate to the charity drive thing. It helps so much more, and so many more people benefit.
Carry on
