Movies You Cried Over

Post by Rorschach » Wed Mar 05, 2003 3:19 pm

Come on boys, I know you have, you know you have, the girls know you have, no good standing around with your hands in your pockets, jiggling your testicles and talking about beer and football in deep voices.
What movies turn you into blubbering fools? (And I'm going out on a limb here, so I'd appreciate at least one response).
Here are my top 5 'man to instant pussy' moments:

1) The Champ. The end obviously.
2) The Lion King. Poor wee Simba - so alone...
3) Watership Down. Why did he shoot the rabbit? "Bright eyes..."
4) Home Alone. When his mum turned up at the end. I am a bit worried about this one actually
5) The Escape Artist. The 'floating dead dad' scene

I don't cry.... but these are ones that nearly get me crying. ^_^

Grave of the Fireflies. "And she never woke up again..."

My Neigbor Totoro. Purely for sentimental reasons, not because of anything that's actually in it.

Shindler's List. Mainly because.... well, you've all seen it, you know! ^_^

Hmmm..... I can't think of any more, really. As I said, I don't cry! ^_^;

Listen to the German spoken in it, it's even worse than you think! ^_^;

Besides, I usued to wear a little red coat like the little girl in the movie, it's kinda creepy. Especially since I wear one now, too... ^_^;

Eh - there are a couple of almosts for me:

Gandhi
Schindler's List
La Vita e Bella
The Last Unicorn
Transformers: The Movie (Dammit, why'd they have to kill Prime? Bastards!)

Okay, maybe not Transformers. But like I'd miss a chance to mention that movie again. :mrgreen:

I definitely cried when watching the Hindi flick "Mr. India" - but that's cuz I was in physical pain from the horrors of that film. Really. Granted, the bad guy made me laugh my @$$ off, but DAMN that was a bad film! Even for Bollywood!

I cried while watching Jason X, because I was laughing so hard.
