Actually, in comparison to other chips of similar quality, and considering the superior packaging that they come in, Pringles are wholly affordable these days. I suggest that you do your research next time before you try baselessly insulting me.

Actually, I used a 64K connection for almost a year and I did read the comic, the news, everything without problems ( And the time downloading was / is nothing compared with Megatokyo).
Therefore, the alternatives are:
- More patience.
- Look for comics '56K Friendly' and don't read this one.
- Leave, stop the whining, go out and get a live.

you obviously fail to understand the meaning of the word productive. you see by suggesting that the HTML can be changed in this way it has, if enacted, a positive outcome. your comments along the range of 'shut up' 'go away' etc etc have no possible positive outcome. i really have no idea what is wrong with you people that you are so against making the site more readable to dialup users, it's not as if it has any affect on you what so ever. perhaps you are just incredibly nasty people who everyone else to be as misserable and unhappy as yourselves. i

and on a final note i'm not quite sure how you get off telling me to get a 'lif(v)e'. You are the ones who are regular members of a comic strip forum, i came here to post about a particular issue i have with the site of the comic i have been reading for years, but i'm not sad enough to hang around here permanently to talk to other sad beings with no kind of life.

Your comments, along the range of 'blah blah blah', and 'blah blah blah' (see how it's exactly the same thing over and over again? Just wanted to point that out.), have no possibly productive outcome. I really have no idea what is wrong with you that you are so against highlighting text or waiting 5 seconds, it's not as if it has any effect on you whatsoever. Perhaps you are just a incredibly nasty person who wants everyone else to be as miserable and unhappy as you are?

And, on a final note, I'm not quite sure how you get off telling us to get a 'life'. You're the one who decided that yours is the only true path in life and therefore everyone else is wrong. I came here to object to a particular issue you have with the site of the comic I've been reading for years, but I'm not sad enough to play the "holier than thou" card and say I'm somehow better than everyone else. (though I am, but that's aside from the point.)

I just got cable, and some times it runs slower than a Mac G3 powerbook on a 56K, but I don't complaine, I use a different machine

you see your objections fail to have any proper reasoning behind them at all. you have yet to give a single reason as to how this adversely affects anyone in the slightest. you just post a continuos inane dribble of insults or suggestions towards me, that seem to suggest that somehow i have the problem and it is not the site. you're like some mad AMD Fanboy gone mad, you don't even have a product to evangelically promote above reason, all you have is the status quo, that somehow a small addition is some henous thing that should never be considered under any circumstance. i really have no idea why you are so aggresive towards people, but i think you need councilling, it can't be healthy for you at all. and as a subnote, taking what someone says and changing a few words is not clever, and has never been funny, i've seen 5 year olds who can do it better than you because what you say doesn't even make sense.

i'm glad to hear that you have cable Eihger, but i fail to see how it affects me in the slightest.

Just remeber who started this, that be you. No good has came out of you making this thread, and you know this well. Yet you continue to talk and talk and talk annoy many people here. You even have the gull to post a table streatching image of doom and complain about your 56k connection. GET A BETTER CONNECTION IF ITS SO SLOW.

I don't think Greg want's to go through a mass of code to reduce loading time, infact, I bet the man has better things to do like to TAKE CARE OF HIS GIRLFRIEND then fixing the damn website due to one 56k'ers disapporvement of the design.
