, lets try and finish this up shall we?
Kail follows everyone elses' stares to the bartender, and the little girl talking with him.
It's her!
He walks up to the captain guard quickly, so she won't run away before he can prove his innocense.
"Excuse me sir. I believe that is the evidence we have been seeking. Unless you want to excuse us of murder and necromancy, I think this case is over."
OOC: enough to work with Blaze?

Layna, noticing the silence, stands to her full height, glaring down at each person, daring them to defy her. Her pendant has once again been hidden beneath her clothing, somewhere in the folds of her garment. She hears someone shout, "There she is!", and she turns to stare at them. Seeing her friends bound, and having been recognized, she paces over to the guards, and points to the bound men.
"What have these men done wrong, that you would bind them and put them in chains? They saved my life, and gave me clothing after an unfortunate encounter with a bandit. He stripped me of almost everything I had on me, and left me in rags. He beat me, but these men came along and mended my wounds, and gave me clothing. And now, my rescuers had been put in chains!"

The guards stand baffled, until finally the leader speaks up.
"Err... uh.... Bartender? Is this the girl you claim they must've killed?"
"Oh... umm... I geuss so.... Mind you, I never said I saw them kill her.... and they were disturbing the peace!"
"That is true.... ok.... we need to take this before the tribunal. We need everybody associated with the case, you four," He points the arrestees back into the wagon, "Also, I'm going to need you miss, obviously," he says to Layna, "And I beleive we'll need you as well," he says pointing to Kyan. "Bartender, sorry, but you're going to have to close up shop today and come with us. Is there anybody else in here who feels they should be present at the tribunal?"
The guard looks around the room.

Layna smiles gently at Kyan, and whispers back, "If it must be so to free these people, I will have a messanger sent to Machipawa, to prove that I am who I say I am."
She turns to the guard, nods her head, and proceeds to follow.

Re: Saenydd
Kail quiets down, and followed the guards without objection.
"Men occasionally stumble on the truth, but most of them pick themselves up and hurry off as if nothing had happened."
OOC: Just assuming everybody comes along, since some people aren't posting...
IC: The guards bring everybody to the tribunal, and you find yourself in an outdoor courtyard, with a thin sort of cover over it, hoisted on poles. The sun is just ever so muted comming through the covering. At the end of the courtyard, three elected officials sit behind a wooden pulpit.
"Approach!" Calls out the one on the left.
Everybody moves forward and stands, the guards seperate the accused (the four), from the witnesses (the bartender, Layna, and Kyan), from the bystanders. (kain).
"You four did stand accused of the assault and subsequent murder of this girl here. Obviously, you did not murder her. However, we must still discover if you were responsible for her assault, and then make judgements on the lesser crimes of resisting arrest and assault of an officer based on a wrongly held accusation."
He looks to Layna. "Would you come up here, face the court, and tell exactly what happened yesterday?"
