Movies that made you cry?

Post by tannii » Sun Dec 21, 2003 12:42 pm

Good God, I just watched Simon Birch .. I have never cried the way I did when that little guy was trapped in the bus ... holy shit ..

I used to pride myself on not crying in movies. I went to see A Walk To Remember and felt really big when I was the only one out of the 6 girls I was with not to cry.
Then I saw Finding Nemo. That was the first movie I EVER cried in. And the pathetic thing about it is, it's Finding Nemo! A children's movie! Gah!

What movies have made you cry?
Jesus, lol.

Just in this past year? Terminator 3, and the Hulk. (no, neither was as a result of how bad the movie was)

A Walk To Remember was a funny movie, not at all sad. Whadaheck. :P I've never seen Grave of the Fireflies, but I suspect I'll be bawling when I do. (though I already know how it ends...)

Hrm... I can't think of any movie that made me cry... but I know I've cried in a few...

I can't even remember them all....
Probably any movie where someone dear or the protagonist their self dies. Those prolonged death scenes just get to me
Braveheart to name one. Gosh i tried to resist but i had to go in the bathroom.
I think thats the worse the rest my eyes get a little moist.
I watched chuckie as a little kid. I remember I wouldn't get in the car for fear that chuckie would come out from underneath the seat and get me..... :shifty:

Anyone heard of the Move "Ringing Bell"?
Man----that made me cry...I haven't been able to find it for a while. Last time I saw it, it was on Beta....it made my brother cry too.....poor sheep

Also I cried at the end of The Last Unicorn...I felt bad that she would regret for the rest of her days.....I cried during the Green Mile.....

The One and only movie I cry when watching was Schindler's List.

The Last Samurai. That was about the hardest I can remember ever having to choke back tears on.

I'm willing to bet 12 Monkeys had an effect on me, probally American History X as well.
