damn nickelodian. when are they gonna make their best shows, INVADER ZIM and rocko's modern life into movies? NO ONE CARES ABOUT THE THORNBERRYS!
/end rant. no wait, strike that. i wanna rant about spongebob. it's looney toons-esque slapstick with the occasional dirty joke. not to mention, it spawned some VERY crappy games. it's too bad jhonen vasquez will more than likely never do anything in animation again. zim would have been a good movie. /end rant for real this time

I wanted to make a rant, but I guess I can put it here.

I absolutely hate how excellent Nickelodeon shows quickly go downhill. The makers of SpongeBob have made the show worse and worse as the show advanced. Why? They found out that they had a new audience, the people that watch Nick Jr., tuning in, then they make the show more "suitable" for them, like the episode where SpongeBob makes a song about tying his shoes, and the episode where SpongeBob tries to gives Gary a path (too many puns! Gah!).

They did it with the Rugrats, too. Mispronounciation jokes aren't funny anymore. Stop doing them. Anyone that has watched the earlier seasons will see that they've gotten dumber over the years, perhaps because most plots stem from the Rugrats misunderstanding things adults say and they need to make them more stupid in order for them to misunderstand more. Meh.

Fortunately, Jhonen Vasquez quit before the writers ruined the series Invader Zim. They actually wanted Dib to win in the final episode! I saw a list of the episodes they didn't finish or didn't air. The last few weren't pretty.

Every show I enjoy is dumbed down for little kids. Stop it, before I burn all your children.

Do you remember the SpongeBob Lost Episode? DO YOU?! It was so horrible I wanted to scratch my eyes out! The movie will probably be EXACTLY like that. I used to love this series.

Oh, and the SpongeBob games aren't all horrible. I liked the one where you have to save all of SpongeBob's friends from the Flying Dutchman for PS2. I hated the one for Gameboy Advance where you have to get things for Mermaidman so he'll give Patrick an autograph, but only because it lasted less than 2 or 3 hours.

Hey what about a set of Invader Zim DVDs including audio set to storyboards/animatics of the unfinished episodes?

Would that make up for it?

It's already on its way, as I guess you know. I'm going to preorder mine as soon as possible. I already have all the episodes on my Hard Drive, but it'll be nice to see the special features and watch them on the TV.
