Shirt Ninja vs. Cardboard Tube Samurai
I found this while I was wandering around the internet... We must go and support Gre... er I mean the Shirt Ninja!
Being both a penny-arcade and Real Life fan... the Cardboard Tube Samurai could kick the Shirt Ninja's ass. (You know, of course, that "the tube is civilization!" and it has been established that it can block sword strikes. Based on that alone, plus the CTS' track record, his victory in a pure fight would be much more likely.)
BUT, Greg Dean could likely beat Gabe into submission and force him to make the CTS surrender.

While shirt ninja is funny, and IMO, more original, the CTS definately has more style.

No way Shirt Ninja could win so Greg would just have to beat up Gabe so CTS could not be draw

Pheh to you all. The Shirt Ninja would prevail! Consider: If you assume the cardboard actually can block a katana (pheh, say I!) I say this. The SN can move fast enough to evade the fire of numerous autocannon turrets, firing at very high rates of fire. I'd say he's fast enough to get behind the tube.
"Tragedy is when I cut my finger. Comedy is when you fall into an open sewer and die." -Mel Brooks
If you've ever read Penny Arcade, you'd know that the cardboard tube counts as a katana - it can block other katanas and slice as well. Also, the Cardboard Tube Samurai is a separate character from Gabe - he's an actual samurai from feudal Japan, while Shirt Ninja is just Greg with a t-shirt around his head.
In other words, Shirt Ninja would lose, assuming you followed the "rules" for the Cardboard Tube Samurai.

But technically if you were following the "rules" for each character, then the Shirt Ninja would be at an advantage that Greg would not... while yes the Shirt Ninja is Greg with a shirt tied around his head, it's more than that... somehow when he becomes the Shirt Ninja he becomes more powerful... sooooo....

Hold on now. When has it ever been established that Gabe isn't the cardboard tube samurai? In fact, there's support FOR it...

In the first two, it is obviously Gabe wielding the cardboard tube. (I assume that in the first one, the tube does not slice Tycho because he is hitting with the dull edge. In the second one... well, they're damn sharp shiruken.)
The third one is DEFINITELY the CTS... and he has Gabe's trademark Pac-Man Tattoo.
And the fourth one? Same line as used in the second one.
There ya go. The CTS and Gabe are not completely seperate characters.
edit: Good lord, I'm a geek...

Shirt Ninja isn't portrayed in an all powerful way because Real Life isn't really all about awesomeness, as it is about hilariousness, but i'm sure if Greg wanted to he could've made some awesome comics showcasing the exploits of Shirt Ninja!
Therefore, once Greg makes an awesomeness comic where SN is the epitamy of cool, then we can decide who would win.
(Before that happens, tho i'd still say SN)
