First, no it's not blood I'm cleaning off... not yet anyway. Second, give me a break, Garr. It was twenty bucks. Just something I wanted to have. You don't start a collection with the rarest items. I probably don't have to tell you that a really high quality katana cost at least 5 to 6 thousand dollars. And lastly, I can't believe this thread got to a second page.
Whenever, wherever, for whatever... I'll be there.

ssjgokuhan, sorry mate,.. yeah you could do alot worse for $20,..... but i'm rather picky about swords, having been trained to makes them and weild them in various differant ways, even the ones I just have for display have to be high quality,...... for a REALLY high quality Katana your looking at around £40,000-£1,000,000,...... but you can usually get a decent Iaito or Shinto for a couple of hundred if you look in the right places,.....

refering back to ninja sword:
Acctualy ninja is a different sword style, instead of the blade being curved it is straight it is most likely thiner, but sharper. The blade can be as long as a katana's.
I would show you a pic but I can't find me digital camera.

yeah, mostly since as a natural motion you can draw it out and still make a pulling motion with it, which is what you do if you want a clean cut. simply hacking away with a katana will get you nowhere. and i already noted the main differences between the ninja-to and a katana on page 1.

Blaze, there are few ways to draw the Katana in a killing blow,.. the draw is oftern a block or a move to break your attacker's concentration (oftern smacking them in the belly or the face with the pommel),... search out Iaido, for more info on the art of drawing the sword,..... but the draw and the cut are NEVERthe same motion,. with expirance you'll feel the differant change in forces,. is youwere to strike as part of the draw it would be mroe a slash rather than a cut,...
