Most disappointing game ending

Freelancer... the game's great, you end as the terrorists... blowing up the alien city that's going to doom mankind and your character says,
"I'm commited!"
Worst. Line. EVER.

Then you're suddenly on the RIGHT side of the law

Worst game ending ever? I didn't particularly care for the end of Metroid II for gameboy where it just kinda showed your character pointing his gun in the air with a little "game over" in the background. Kinda stunk.

Half-Life opposing force
Not so much the end movie but the end of the game suked. + GMan talked to long.
all that expectation and you can easaly do it w/o even being hit.
i killed "it" w/o any big guns even just a sniper rifle mostly.
and figuring out what actually hurt him.

warcraft III. the mega ending, the one where the evil dude just....blows up.....by some f-ing spirts! what the hell? common, BIIIGGG important plot line, and that shit, i spent an intire night playin gto beat that fing lvl with out cheats. oh, im not saying the game sucked, the cutseens used were great(nice idea, useing the real units as cut seen devices) and grafix used for the climax with each race(prince stabes dad in head, orc brothers vs evil dubble bladed dead guy, guy blows up) were super.

I think some of you guys are idiots for saying some of these games had bad endings, especially when they consist of a "To Be continued" ending, then you say "That's it!!?? That ending suxx0rz!!!!!!!!?!!!" It's supposed to leave you wanting more. That's what sequals are for. Tard.

GunGrave's ending was pathetic. Although I was sitting there for about... 4 minutes until I figured out to hit the fire button to start the damn ending.

Final Fantasy 8: Bad Game, bad ending.

Jedi Knight 2: Great game, horrid ending.

The whole Soul Reaver series: They're pretty sequel happy, aren't they?

Doom: Star Wars-like text rolling up the screen, then the credits.

Blue's ending in SaGa Frontier: Strike the final blow, "THE END".

on FFVIII. yes. That game had the worst ending... but that was because the whole story sucked.

"Wait... she's not the bad guy? She is actually trying to save everyone?"

"Wait, SHE is not the bad guy, it's actually..."

"Lets fade in and out 20mins of video that has nothing to do with the storyline: ROxxors!"

Why can't Soul Reaver have nice endings and stories like Blood Omen had. Save the people, or damn them? That's an ending. Or like Deus Ex. That was bitchin.

Hey....i like Final Fantasy VIII, it wasn't a masterpiece but a very diecent game...and the ending was real good
