It's the birthplace of American oracle(s). Also a city in Nebraska, round the middle area of the US.

Well if you ever hear me say its snowing in Atlanta just keep an eye on CNN, they'll probably show video at some of the total insanity that is Atlanta drivers in the face of icy conditions. See snow rarely happens around here because it melts on surfaces and then freezes into a really good surface for ice skating. But not really a good surface for driving on.

WTOP is saying we could get 10 inches this weekend. I really, really hope we do. I could use a great snowstorm.

Could get some snow tomorrow, to replace the snow that's melting now.

sub-freezing, windy. Snow on the way. Not a happy camper

After a week or two of -30C and below and two city-stopping snowstorms, it's finally warmed up to a balmy six degrees. Practically shorts weather out there :D

Don't you love when it gets above zero? It feels downright tropical!

Now they are saying 20+ inches of snow! For those in the metric system that is 50+ cm. We already have enough snow that I have to make a path so my dog can go to the bathroom.

You need to post a picture of her in the snow. We're up to 6-8 inches here at my parents in Fairfax County. I almost wish I was back at my apartment to see what it is down there.

Ok, just finished shoveling the driveway for the first time (took two hours). There is now another two inches at the top of the driveway.

Well, after shoveling snow for the 4th time, we can leave the house. Stupid snowplow that doesn't do anything. Had to shovel another 20 feet to get to where the snowplow stopped.
